About The Prince’s Trust
The Prince's Trust is a charity in the United Kingdom founded in 1976 by Charles, Prince of Wales, to help vulnerable young people get their lives on track. It supports 11 to 30-year-olds who are unemployed and those struggling at school and at risk of exclusion.
The Prince's Trust state that since the outbreak of Covid-19, 53% of young women in the UK experienced overwhelming anxiety and are in need of extra support.
Prince's Trust in collaboration with Hannah Sophia England | Women Supporting Women Collection. During lockdown, many of the young people we work with reported that their Prince’s Trust youth worker was their only form of contact. Together we can help rebuild the futures of our next generation.
In loving memory of Elena Rose Wells, who's values inspired this mission and her legacy lives on.
This could re-build the confidence in 7 young women, from the margins of society, on a residential week where they are encouraged to push their boundaries and try outdoor adventure activities to develop the skills needed to move forward.
This could remove the practical barriers, such as lack of equipment for 100 young women which might prevent them from accessing employment opportunities.
This could run a life-changing employability course for 12 young women to gain entry-level roles in key sectors including the NHS in clinical and non-clinical roles
This could ensure that young women from the age of 11 will have someone there for them through our youth workers who support young women before they go onto The Prince’s Trust programme, whilst the young person are on the programme and afterwards. Our youth workers work to support up to 30 young people at any one time.
