We lit the candles, set up the grammar-phone with Billie holiday playing and dressed up (if you can’t dress up for you partner then when can you?)
Canapés with Cocktail experiments!
Now if you’re anything like me then cocktails (and chocolate/cheese) are a way into your soul. We decided to take it in turns to become mixologists. From vespers to the most adventurous concoctions!

On a bed of rocket with a drizzle of chilli oil
Mains while discussing our hopes/ dreams of the future and things to look forward to.
To eat we had duck with a plum sauce and dauphinoise.
Slow dancing to cheek to cheek followed by Joe's dad style dancing to Mr Brightside!
